Toothache 3: Cardiac Nemesis

Part 1

Part 2

Been a while.

I went on a short vacation with my family which I posted on my main blog. I realized that I didn't take enough pictures during the trip but I guess that's a good thing because that means I wasn't on my phone as much.

Ever since I finished my antibiotics, my tooth has been behaving. I still avoid chewing on that side of my mouth, and there's a tiny, nagging pain every now and then, but it's tolerable to the point that I can live my life normally again.

However, I'm still unable to get it extracted or fixed via root canal treatment because of my high blood pressure. My life has changed priorities and the toothache has been delegated to top 2, replaced with my Hypertension.

I visited the cardiologist last weeekend and had my ECG and 2D Echo tests so I'm waiting for their results. This weekend I'll also be undergoing a 24-hour Automatic Blood Pressure Monitoring. I'll be wearing an arm sleeve and holster that measures my blood pressure hourly for a day. Then we'll really see what's happening and what causes my blood pressure to spike.

It's so weird because when I'm at the clinics, I have a normal blood pressure of 120/80. But when I'm due for the tooth extraction, it suddenly spikes to 140/100 without me doing anything remarkable. It's like a comedy that the universe is playing me as the fool for laughs.

Hopefully all this gets solved quickly and I can finally get my tooth fixed. I've got some trips coming up and I don't really wanna be moving around with a painful toothache.

This saga has gone on long enough. I'm tired, boss.
